Lebanon Valley College is pleased to announce that the following students have been accepted for admission at The Valley.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2017 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Select students have been named to the Fall 2017 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

As first-year students embark on their college experience, they will all take part in Loyola's living learning program, Messina. The common text for Messina is Just Mercy, by Bryan Stevenson. The book, a compelling first-hand account of a lawyer who defends the poor and wrongly condemned, speaks to the inequality in the justice system.

The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that 100 student athletes are competing on the Assumption College Football team this season.

The following students have been named to the dean's list at Bates College for the winter semester ending in April 2017

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2017 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Approximately 600 undergraduate students were welcomed as alumni at Western New England University's 2017 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremonies.

At the 185th Commencement Ceremony on May 28, Wesleyan awarded 763 BA degrees.

More than 600 students received bachelor degrees from St. Lawrence University during Commencement ceremonies held on May 21 in Canton, New York.

The graduates of Assumption's Class of 2017 made history on Sunday, May 14, as the College held its Centennial Commencement exercises at the DCU Center in downtown Worcester, in which speaker John L. Allen, Jr., editor of Crux, a publication that focuses on news of the Vatican and Catholic Church, delivered the Commencement address.

The Assumption College Office of Student Affairs has announced that 24 students have been selected among a significant pool of applicants to serve as 2017 orientation leaders.

Students will travel to such places as Italy, Germany and England this term.

The Assumption College Office of Campus Ministry has announced that 63 students spent spring break volunteering on one of the College's SEND Service Immersion Trips.

Sixty-five Wesleyan student-athletes were honored for their excellence in the classroom when the NESCAC announced its 2016-17 Winter All-Academic Team on March 9.

The men's ice hockey team won the Little Three Title on Feb. 17-the first time the team has won a title since the 1986-87 season. And for the first time in the history of Wesleyan athletics, the football, men's basketball and men's hockey teams all won the Little Three title in the same academic year.

The Wesleyan men's ice hockey team recently welcomed its newest honorary member to the team, 9-year-old Connor Albert from Team IMPACT, whose focus is to improve the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses through the power of team. Connor was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in April 2016.

A total of 11,758 students enrolled during the 2016 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

James Madison University is pleased to announce that the following students made the dean's list for the fall 2016 semester.

Assumption College has announced that 486 students have been named to the College's prestigious undergraduate Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Assumption students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a five-class, 15-credit semester. The Dean's List is announced twice per academic year, once at the completion of the fall semester, and again at the completion of the spring semester.

For the second consecutive year, the Assumption College Football team advanced to the NCAA Division II playoffs, capping off an historic season.

The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that 99 student athletes have earned a coveted spot on the 2016-17 Assumption College Football team.
